Department of Security >>Escorts Security officers will escort you from the building where you work to any place on campus at anytime of the day or night. We offer this service to faculty, staff, students, visitors, and patients alike. Although we offer the service at all times, we encourage you to use this service after normal business hours particularly when walking alone or after dark. When walking you to your car, officers will make sure your car starts and that you are out of the lot safely before leaving you. Officers will also escort you to the metro rail station which is staffed by contract security personnel. Wait times average from 3 to 5 minutes, although you may experience occasional delays due to unexpected emergencies.
