Call (305) 243-6280, ext. 2 or e-mail: UMparking@med.miami.edu The parking office staff is responsible for managing parking resources and public transit for the Medical Campus. This includes keeping an inventory of parking spaces and issuing access for those faculty, staff, and students who drive to campus on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the demand for parking is greater than the number of spaces during most of the year. Therefore, the parking office maintains a waiting list for all the parking garages and lots. The waiting time can vary due to the demand for a particular location. If you are flexible and willing to walk across campus you may be able to obtain a space immediately. If not your wait could be days, months, or even years. For example, the wait for a space in the center of campus at Park Plaza West is approximately 3 years. Faculty, staff, and students who take public transportation and drive to work on occasion can purchase daily parking stickers on a limited basis in accordance with the VIP Decal policy. To obtain monthly parking, place your name on any waiting list, or obtain VIP decals please call Daysi Fleitas at (305) 243-6280, ext. 2 or e-mail your request to UMparking@med.miami.edu.
